Chardonnay, 'Clay Shales', Crystallum 2018

Light straw, touch of green. Vanilla and coconut nose with some juicyfruit tang. This is tropical fruit adjacent but not in your face.

Creamy, apple and lemon profile, maybe a hint of pineapple. Rich, coats the mouth, finish ends with a bitterness which, helped by the medium acidity gives a cleanliness to what might otherwise be a bit of a fat gobfull.
