Champagne "Le Demi-Sec", A. Margaine

Tangy unripe melon and something like nectarine, wrapped in a cloud of rice-like sweetness, with a subtle bitterness. Curiously reminds me an off-dry sake, down to the lingering tongue-coating pulverized-rice finish.

Elegant, balanced, tasty! This is a versatile wine that would complement dessert, or many hard to pair main dishes-South Asian, etc. Note of pear, apple, and a hint of toffee.
