A deep watermelon color with an orange tinge, the 2019 Champagne La Confiance De Mon Pere Extra Brut Rosé De Saignée is entirely made from Pinot Meunier and is a Special Club bottling. Musky and potent with savory aromas of blood orange, incense, cranberry, and wild herbs, on the palate, its pillowy mousse leads to a full-bodied wine with a rich and incisive personality, balanced tension, and rich notes of orange oils and spice through its long finish.
Broad and muscular, it's a serious rosé that can stand up to grilled steak.
