CH CARMES HAUT BRION

Medium ruby-red color, with dark pigmentation. The ripe, dark-berry fruit aromas are restrained. The palate shows leafy notes overlaying a concentrated bitter licorice core of fruit.

The wine is medium-bodied & fine tannins close up the mid-palate somewhat Good, fresh acidity & balanced alcohol allows the dark licorice fruit to open-out again on the finish, displaying damson & dark plum flavors that last quite well.
