Forastera is a local white grape. This comes from the island of Ischia, off of the coast of Naples.. The estate vines are planted in the commune of Lacco Ameno from a west-facing, terraced vineyard that is purely volcanic.
This was fermented with native yeasts and bottled unoaked. The style is typical mountain wine style: elegant with subtle fruit appeal and great acidity.
