The 2017 Cave de Lugny La Côte Blanche is a classic French Chardonnay with aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits and a medium-bodied palate of lemon peel, red apple, peach and the merest hint of minerality.
Vanilla-tinged creaminess on the mid-palate is bookended by lively acidity. This is a phenomenally good Chardonnay that will appeal to all-manner of Chardonnay lovers because of its weight, terroir-driven complexity, and crisp finish.
