A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese, this offers aromas of dark-skinned fruit, exotic spice, French oak and a whiff of underbrush. Smooth and firmly structured, the elegant palate delivers cassis, black cherry and star anise alongside polished, fine-grained tannins. Drink 2018–2028.
A glass of Acciaiolo reveals a ruby-red color with luminous garnet reflections. The nose is pleasantly complex and renders visions of beautiful dark plum, delicate spices, and violets, which are exalted by a light vanilla background. The palate is full-bodied and elegant, revealing mouthwatering plum and rich dark chocolate, as well as tanned leather and a rustic minerality. The tannins are full and plush, contributing to a long finish.
