• Limited edition, barrel-aged bitter aperitivo liqueur produced by Iseya Distillery in Sagamihara, Japan • Batch #8 from Scarlet’s Cask Marriage line of barrel-aged aperitivi • Made with 25 estate-grown and locally sourced botanicals featuring lemon balm, golden berry sprouts, sage, angelica root, licorice, cinnamon, jasmine flowers, and blood orange peel • Botanicals are macerated in neutral sugarcane spirit • Aged over 2 years in oak casks previously used to age whiskies from Chichibu Distillery, Kanosuke Distillery, and Asaka Distillery • Naturally colored using cochineal insect dye • 30% ABV Iseya Distillery’s Scarlet Cask Marriage Series consists of extremely limited bottlings of their flagship aperitivo aged in whisky barrels. Batch #8 is composed of a blend of four barrels previously used to age whiskies from some of Japan’s most highly regarded distilleries including Saitama’s Chichibu Distillery, Kagoshima’s Kanosuke Distillery, and the Asaka Distillery in Fukushima.
