Arneis from Cascina Luisin has a bright lemon color. Nose in the first moment pear, white peach and flowers. After a while, grassy aromas appear somewhere in the background. The whole well-arranged and tempting. In the mouth the wine is velvety and soft. You can feel the mineral notes and the bitter finish that comes to them. The fruit plays a supporting role at this moment.
Aftertaste and herbal aftertaste. Wine has a rather low acidity (which is in turn characteristic of Arneis). Good for vegetables (I drank to risotto agli asparagi - a great combination that can easily compete with a traditional pair of riesling-asparagus ), seafood or poultry.
