Casas del Bosque Pinot Noir Gran Reserva 2018

Gamy plum and red berry aromas are true to Pinot Noir but nothing special. A sappy palate goes flat with airing, while this tastes of oak, berries and clove. A woody tasting finish with persistent clove notes remains fairly flat.

Casablanca has good Pinot Noirs that achieve varietal expressions such as this one, with its complex aromas, rose petals, forest herbs, earth and cherry and a hint of animal hide. The entrance is full of flavor and the aftertaste is indulgent.
