Casas del Bosque Carmenere Reserva 2018

Aromas of earthy berry fruit, compost, creamy oak and rubber don't amount to much. In the mouth, this is chunky, lazy and soupy feeling. Herbal blackberry flavors are slightly murky and green, while this is static on the finish.

Deep red with a garnet hue. Aromas reminiscent of black cherries, plums and dry leaves are complemented with notes of chocolate and spice from the French oak barrels the wine was aged in. This Carménère is soft and plump, with supple tannins and good length.
