This seriously good value Barolo is just what you want at this price – delicious and drinkable now. In the glass, it has a rich bouquet of plums, red fruits and jam, combined with tertiary aromas of eucalyptus, tobacco and leather. In the mouth, sweet tannin is predominant and persistent with balsamic and toasted hints in the finish. The wine was aged for 38 months, of which 18 of these were in oak barriques which has enriched the wine with refined and evolutionary notes.
The perfect wine for fillet steak and truffles. Although very good now this wine will improve for the next 6-8 years.
