Carpineto Rosso di Montalcino 2015 |
During the edition of the Anonymes d'Exquis held in October, the red wine Carpineto Rosso di Montalcino 2015 was one of the 10 favorites of the tasting committee, made up of professionals and amateurs.
Made from 100% Sangiovese, this product comes from the Montalcino region of Tuscany. The appellation cousin of Brunelo, is pledge of quality and will please you as it pleased us.
The Rosso di Montalcino, from Carpineto House , presents itself with a deep garnet robe with tuiled reflections. The nose is delicate but very precise, we can smell the animal notes from the opening. Spices, notes of undergrowth, moist earth and blackcurrant complete the aromas of the nose. On the palate, this wine is gourmet and well balanced, we find the notes perceived in the olfaction. The wine is marked by red fruit, bay leaf and the return of spices. The tannins are present and slightly drying, however the acidity allows extra length to the wine and a palate very pleasant.
