Wine maker notes
A wine of great elegance and finesse, the Chianti Classico Carobbio was born from the union of two great varieties: Sangiovese and Merlot. Its colour is deep red ruby and enhanced by a complex aroma of red fruits and a final pleasant hint of liquorice. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, the Chianti Classico has an intense structure that maintains its balanced taste and a velvety texture, without losing any of its pleasant drinkability.

Food pairing
Suitable for every season, it is a perfect accompaniment for pasta dishes like ravioli with hare ragu, cinta senese lasagna or pici with rabbit ragu. It makes a good accompaniment for appetizers such black cabbage crostone, black pate croutons and traditional Tuscan charcuterie.
