Carmel Winery was founded in 1882 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild, owner of Chateau Lafite in Bordeaux. It has 3,472 acres of vineyards, which cover the land of Israel from the Upper Galilee in the north, to the Negev in the south. Carmel Mediterranean Wine 75 cl Kosher
Carignan 37%, Shiraz 26%, Petit Verdot 20%, Petite Sirah 15%, Viognier 2%. From the Shomron region, this wine is a blend of five grape varieties grown in Israel, and reflects its uniquely Mediterranean origin. The wine was aged in small French oak barrels for 15 months, left unfined, and only coarsely filtered.
