Carm Douro Tinto 2014

Nice light wine for warm summer days. Slightly acidic, low tannins. Smell of red and dark berries, strawberry and some hints of chocolate and violet. Aroma of green pepper and raspberry. Pairs well with red fish dishes, potatoes and white meat. Avoid sugary dishes doesn't pair well.

A house wine at Postigo do Carvao in Porto. Medium body and good from the bottle. Rich and fruity with subtle violets on palate and sweet plummy finish with good structure. Very young wine, deserves some time to better mature.

Excelent wine, really good taste and excelent finish . Tried in Ponte de Lima Portugal. Good recomendation from Joao Barreira
