The Angélus vineyard, an area of around 40 ha, is located in the heart of a natural amphitheater, dominated by the three churches of Saint-Emilion. In 2012, Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal, CEO of Angélus, represents the 8th generation of the Boüard de Laforest family, and now embodies Angélus. Aware of the importance of the task entrusted to her in 2012 and the responsibilities incumbent on her, she strives to show herself worthy of the founding values that have accompanied and guided her family since the beginning of its history: integrity, hard work , humility and sense of duty. Promoted to 1er Grand Cru Classé A of Saint-Emilion during the 2012 reclassification, Château Angélus has definitely entered the category of very great wines from the right bank of Bordeaux.
The bouquet is aromatic and subtle. It bursts with fruit and freshness, with notes of small wild berries and cherry, the woody notes are elegant. Carillon du Château Angélus will go perfectly with a hare terrine, pan-fried Bordeaux ceps, grilled rib of beef or maroille
