Cardedu Canonau di Sardegna 'Caladu' 2017

One of our most beloved wines, year in, year out, this wonderful Cannonau from Sardegna strikes a near perfect balance between authentic, rustic character, natural quirkiness and crowd-pleasing appeal. 

It's medium weight, dark, mineral, earthy, leathery and focused, with touches of smoky herbaceousness woven into every level.  It'll also get better with a year or two in the cellar.  In short, it's a ton of wine for the money.
