Brought to Sicily by the Aragonese in the 15th and 16th centuries, Alicante today is somewhat rare on the Italian island. Spontaneously fermented with wild yeasts and bottled unfined & unfiltered. Notes of macerated black fruit, briny minerality, and hints of balsamic and forest floor. Delicious!
