Camus Cognac VSOP Borderies

94 Points Vinous It's rare to find a VSOP made solely from Borderies, and the limited-release Camus Family Reserve is a unique bottling. The nose is lively and complex, offering dried fruit, candied citrus and even notes of pineapple cake, but there's also a fascinating hint of almost rhum-agricole-like grassiness and burnt sugarcane. Delicate on the palate, featuring dried apricot, orange peel and cinnamon, and notes of struck stone and flint throughout. Beautiful, intriguing VSOP and good value. (40% abv)
