Campo Viejo Rioja Gran Reserva 2011

Gran Reserva is made from Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo, all popular varietals in Spain's Rioja region.

Ruby red and deep in color, Gran Reserva has a complex nose of blackberries, blueberries and plums. As it opens up, smoky, toasted wood nuances are revealed with spices and hints of minerals and tobacco. On the palate, it is smooth and soft with velvety tannins and great palate weight. Elegant flavors follow with hints of coffee, chocolate, tobacco and dark fruit.
