Lot 2015 Campi Raudii Library Release has naturally lost some of the fruit intensity seen in this wine when it is younger, and yet it has also retained quite a bit of depth. Orange peel, tobacco, star anise and a host of more exotic floral notes are all found.
Aromatically beguiling and constantly changing in the glass, the 2015 has a lot to say. Even with all of its depth, the Campi Raudii has that translucent feel that makes the best wines from Alto Piemonte so compelling.
