Block Nine Caidens Vyds California Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Charred oak aromas and chocolate-coated cherry flavors give this wine a dramatic spicy richness. Wood smoke, clove and cedar dominate the palate.

Initial aromas include ripe red strawberry, raspberry, basil, mint, damp forest floor and a sea-salt salinity. Tannins are a bit assertive in their grippiness. While the palate incorporates those initial aromas, it adds raisinated elements like strawberry fruit leather, dried cranberries and prune.
