• 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot • Quintessence, Klipsun, and Obelisco Vineyards (Red Mountain AVA) • Sourced from Shaw, Obelisco, Quintessence, and Ciel du Cheval vineyards • Aged 20 months in barrel, 55% new French oak, 45% once-used French oak • 624 cases produced • 14.2% abv This wine comes from Quintessence, Klipsun, and Obelisco vineyards in the Red Mountain AVA. These particular vineyards always express the terroir of Red Mountain especially well. The rich soils, dependable air drainage, and limited rainfall result in highly concentrated berries with dense skins, rich inky color, and daring complexity.
