Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain District boasts a deep purple hue as well as ripe, powerful notes of black and blue fruits, crushed stone, graphite, and lead pencil. It's ripe and concentrated, yet also has a touch of austerity, which is both the vintage and the appellation.
Full-bodied and structured, I like the quality of the tannins, and it has plenty of mid-palate depth as well as a great finish.
