Familiar cherry flavor on the palate. The similarities end there as the Freisa has a much richer rippasso-like vibe. Cherry cola aromas on the nose and the oak influence also imparts a hint of cocoa as the wine opens up.

Really enjoyable and unique wine overall, but would pair with food to balance out the richness.
