• 100% Sangiovese Grosso • From the prestigious hill of Montosoli to the north of Montalcino • 250-350 meters above sea level on land dating back to the Eocene period characterized by calcareous, marl, argillaceous and conglomerate rocks • Vines planted with south-west exposition • Manual selection of the grapes • Intense extraction with frequent pumping over, followed by long maceration on the skins • Aged 30 months in Slavonian oak barrels selected by Stockinger, followed by a minimum of 6 months in bottle • 300 cases produced on average and only in exceptional years
