IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS

Light, fruity, little bit soft tannins. Just table wine. But the brand is good. Can't find any special faults.

Purple color in aroma and taste dark fruit in background strongly marked red fruit notes chocolate vanilla oak coffee tobacco leather earthy pepper licorice properly balanced medium acidity irrigable tannin good wine with fatty red meat.

The huge Trapiche firm, the largest wine producer in Argentina as well as one of the country’s oldest (it was founded in 1883), has built a strong reputation for high-quality inexpensive wines as well as for their high-end vineyard-designated Malbecs. Quality has been on the rise since the company installed the talented Daniel Pi as chief winemaker and enologist in 2002, and the firm’s geographic reach has expanded as well. - From Argentina’s Wines Enter the World Stage (Jul 2018) by Stephen Tanzer
Ideal to combine with pasta, grilled red meats and stews. DRINKING TEMPERATURE 16°-18° C

Enjoyable!

We decanted the second bottle which opened up quite a bit more. The flavor mellowed and was an enjoyable dinner wine.
