The Bourgogne Côte d'Or Blanc Vieilles Vignes is a brilliant sunny yellow. The nose reveals notes of yellow stone fruit - quince and apricot. There is also a mineral note of light slate and a subtle spiciness of roasted pine nuts.
On the palate, this Chardonnay is clear and fresh, with a deeper body. Acidity and creaminess are harmonious and balanced. A great wine with a coq au vin cooked in Chardonnay or with a risotto with Romanesco and almonds .
