Smoky aromas of citrus and green apple introduce bright, racy and detailed middle weight flavors that possess fine depth and persistence on the clean and dry finale.
The 2020 Bourgogne Blanc had been racked just a couple of months prior to my visit. It feels a little withdrawn on the nose, lacking the "spark" of the red for the moment. The palate is taut and fresh, displaying fine definition, notes of grapefruit, lime and pear, and a slightly waxy finish.
