• Blend of straight bourbon whiskeys produced by Leopold Bros in Denver, Colorado • Leopold Bros bourbon is double copper pot distilled from a mash bill of 65% corn, 20% malted barley, and 15% rye • Wheated bourbon distilled by MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, from a mash bill of 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley • Aged 4–6 years; non-age statement • Blended and rested in a French oak foeder • Sweet vanilla, charred oak, toasted pecan, and crème brûlée with buttered toffee, baking spice, and a hint of peppery rye on the back end • Non-chill filtered; 45% ABV A follow-up to the limited editions in Leopold Bros’ Foeder [FOOD•er] Series, this cocktail-tailored blend features a heavier base of six-year-old MGP wheated bourbon. With this wheated base, Leopold Bros marries select casks of high-barley bourbon from their stocks and rests the blend for several weeks in a foeder, a large wooden vat used for fermenting or aging beer. This slow oxidation softens the whiskey, rounding off the youthful sharp edges of the spirit to create a versatile and expressive bourbon ideal for all manner of cocktails.
