Ultra-pure and racy, the coiled, vivid flavours include juicy citrus, Mirabelle plum and wildflower, with some evocative, terroir-infused smoky notes in the aromatics. Although fleshy, the chalky texture is finely chiselled by phenolic tension, salty grip and this vintage’s soaring freshness.

It is still very young and just beginning to reveal its potential, so it will require a measure of bottle age to allow secondary layers of complexity to emerge. Curious souls can drink it in its youth with great pleasure, just make sure you’ve got some appropriate nourishment at close quarters. Rock solid class.
