Borsao Garnacha 2017 |
This wine has a deep ruby color, a big sweet kiss of licorice, kirsch liqueur and darker currants, cherry red with violet nuances. Has a ripe fruit nose with floral tones. It is medium-bodied, refreshing, exuberant and fruity, pure and lusty spiciness and with a complex and long aftertaste.
Bright juicy plum and blackberry aromas. The palate is soft and approachable with cassis, plum, bramble and cherry characters. Supple tannins create an appealing finish. Supple tannins are balanced by good acidity and blackberry notes, with a hint of licquorice and black pepper. Bodegas Borsao was establised in 2001 and is a collection of three of the most progressive co-operative cellars in the Campo de Borja zone southeast of Rioja.
