Bodega Norton Cabernet Sauvignon Barrel Select |
Bodega Norton was founded in 1895 at the Mendoza River Valley. The estate winery is located at the foothills of the Andes, at altitudes ranging between 850 to 1100 m. above sea level. For our “Barrel Select” we hand pick grapes from vines over 15 years old. Fifty percent of the wine is aged 12 months in French oak barrels and then additionally in bottles before release. The character of this wine shows a subtle balance between grape and oak, resulting in a firm structure, rich flavours and a delicate finish.
Deep red ruby. Aromas of blackberries and red peppers, with notes of eucalyptus and cinnamon. Elegant on the palate, good body, round and consistent.

Smooth silken
The best Cabernet Sauvignon on the market out there unfortunately no one in Southern California has it in stock. I bought the last bottle. I prefer it to the Norton Malbec. If you can help me finding this original, you’d be my hero du jour
