• Blended Scotch whisky crafted at The GlenAllachie Distillery in Aberlour • Aged 15 years • Selected Scotch whiskies from The GlenAllachie and nondisclosed distilleries are married at GlenAllachie and laid down for secondary aging by Master Distiller Billy Walker • 20% Speyside malt, 23% North Highland malt, and 4% Islay malt comprise a blend of 47% malt whisky combined with 53% grain whisky • Primary maturation takes place for 12 years in a combination of first-fill American oak barrels, second-fill barrels & hogsheads, and ex-sherry butts • Secondary maturation takes place for 3 years in a combination of medium-toast and medium-char virgin American oak barrels, Oloroso puncheons, and Pedro Ximénez puncheons • A luscious nose of shea butter, pomegranate seed, walnut skin, white chocolate, and candied fig leads to a palate of toasted pecan, underripe pear, and lemon verbena before leaning into a morish finish of chocolate-cream wafer with a touch of angelica and salt • No added coloring • Non-chill filtered; 46% ABV At the perfect sipping ABV of 46%, this 15-year-old dram shines in texture and in its deft balance of confectionary and verdant tones.
