Blackstone Winery Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc produces the extraordinary French white wines of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé but has also become incredibly popular and successful in New Zealand, California and Chile. The vine itself needs careful pruning to tame the vigorous growth of vegetation which can produce excessive herbaceousness in the wine. Although wonderful with food, Sauvignon Blanc is also great on its own.

Our first Sauvignon Blanc is brimming with aromas of grapefruit, gooseberry and hints of lemon grass. This bright and lively wine exhibits flavors of guava and passion fruit that persists nicely on the focused finish.
