Black Velvet reserve has an outstanding nose of prominent oak with cinnamon and caramel. The Black Velvet Reserve entry is citrus ,maple syrup ,and butterscotch . The finish is maple syrup with twitch of citrus. Is this whisky or maple favored whisky liqueur? It is not very mixable being too sweet, It is maple syrup pancake sweet.
