Intense ruby-garnet in color, pronounced aromas of blackberries and spices complement undertones of forest floor and hints of smoke. On the palate, the wine is harmonious and balanced with soft, round tannins.
With a state of the art winery, Sergio Paternoster is leading the way in high quality Aglianico. This approachable red has a feeling of density about it. A savoury nose of tobacco, spices and baked fruits develops into succulent red fruit on the palate. This is followed by a second wave of dried flowers, baked strawberry and fresh tobacco. The chalky-textured tannins provide structure without detracting from the primary flavours.
