Billaud-Simon Chablis Tete d'Or 2016

Beautiful white gold with light green pale highlights. The nose has notes of citrus and white fruits. The palate is smooth and opulent.

This estate-grown wine is more powerful than the AOC Chablis (recommended here as well), broad, supple and almost caramelized in its richness. It’s salty, with a tannic feel to the leesy structure that one taster described as “wet rocks.”
