Rapolao is a unique site in the municipality of Valtuille de Abajo. An area of historic vineyards spread across several producers. Rapolao de La Vizcaina comes from 1.5 hectares of vineyards planted between 1920 and 1980. A red wine with intense aromas of red fruits, which matures for a year in 225l and 500l oak barrels. A full-bodied wine, with a fleshy and smooth texture, deep and persistent. A masterful combination of concentration and freshness.
Mature red wines are full-bodied wines with intense aromas of fruit, toast and sweet spices, which can be used to find aromatic harmony with dishes with a certain amount of force. Wines with complex aromas are ideal for complex dishes. Their tannins make them ideal to accompany the protein in red meat, or the fatty textures of meat or sauces.
