The Clos de Vougeot is real enclosed-plot with walls.It is east-facing and planted in well-drained soil. It is the vastest grand cru from the Côte-de-Nuit.

Aged for 18 months in oak barrels, it reveals toasted notes  and red fruit and spice aromas. Full-bodied, rich and complex, this wine is well-balanced and will age wonderfully.
