Benvenuto de la Serna Malbec 2013

Jammy Berry, violets and graham crackers define this blue fruit driven Malbec. Great depth of tannins. This is a strong bold wine that delivers big fruit and tannins.

Fruit-forward Malbec leading with blackberry, ripe plum and earthy nose. Med+ bodied, the blackberries dominate but there's a smoky, woody-earth undertone that I like. The finish doesn't keep the drama going or this could have been a 4-star wine.
