• 100% Barbera from selected vineyards in the village of Monforte d’Alba • Vineyards planted from 1980 – 1998 • 200 to 400 meters above sea level with southeast and southwest exposures • Marly limestone soils • Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel • Aged in French oak for ten months • First vintage was 1985 • Average annual production 2500 – 3000 cases
