DESCRIPTION
The color of Barbera d'Alba Punta is a dusty ruby red and the aroma is complex and welcoming. Here the nose meets a moist forest floor, dark plum and blackcurrant. In the mouth it is nicely balanced with moderate acidity and slender tannins.
You sense red fruit, fresh herbs and soft vanilla notes from the time on the barrel. After 18 months in cask, the wine thus develops a nice character with sweet spices that unfold in a long and rich aftertaste.
