• 100% Barbera grown in the very center of the Gallina Barbaresco vineyard in Neive • 55-year-old vines, south-facing planted to calcareous soil at 270 meters above sea level • Harvested in the last week September to early October • Fermented in rotofermenters for 11 days • Aged for 16-18 months in French oak barrique (30% new, medium-toast) • 650 cases produced annually
