• Nebbiolo from 1.2 ha in the Basarin cru of Neive, Moccagatta’s only single vineyard located outside of the Barbaresco township • Estate-owned vineyards since 1967 • Calcareous marl soils with sand • Southern exposure at 250-280 meters above sea level • Maceration and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel • Aging in French oak barriques for 18 months, plus 9 months in bottle • 450 cases produced annually
