Ava Grace Rose 2016 |
Peachy-orange color, vibrant in the glass. Lovely contemporary label that harks back to art nouveau. Aromas of papaya and mango. Flavors of orange, wild strawberry, guava, raspberry, peach, and nectarine, with some underlying pineapple and a touch of grapefruit for acidity. Finishes with notes of ripe pink lady apple, which lasts a long time. Medium-full bodied, wide mouth feel, not heavy, some minerality. Mouthwatering and fresh. Very fruity, but not overly sweet or syrupy. There is also some funk to it.
Strawberry, peach, watermelon. Rose petals. Has a very delicate fizz to it. Dry and refreshing. Serve very cold to disguise a bit of residual sweetness.
A bit of a metalic finish to the toungue.
A very Provencal style rosé. A zinfadel based Rosé. A first for me. Strawberry and cream notes throughout, orange peel and melons.
