DESCRIPTION

Merlot grapes afford aromas; Malbec, red and black fruits, and volume; and Cabernet Sauvignon, spices and mouthfeel, thus attaining a unique complexity and balance.

Lovely complex notes of strawberries, plums and cassis, thyme and touches of floral aromas and potpourri. Fluid and supple.

Fig, prune and raisin aromas lose some clarity and turn more damp and mulchy as this Bordeaux blend unwinds. A thick saturated palate ranks pretty close to being syrupy, while ultraripe berry flavors are accented by coffee, chocolate and oak, all of which hang around on a bold finish.
