 The 2019 Beckstoffer Las Peidras Cabernet Sauvignon is a fantastic showing from Anthem in this vintage. It showcases a wonderful aromatic profile consisting of dark cherries, blackberries and dark currants which are woven together with dark chocolate shavings, herbs, spices, tilled-soil and hints of tobacco. On the palate this is just as impressive, boasting a full-bodied texture that is layered and well-structured with big velvety tannins. It goes on impress as it displays outstanding depth and complexity all the way through the long finish. While this is excellent today, it will certainly go on to provide drinking pleasure for many years to come. (JDA)  (10/2021)
