Anís del Mono Seco is a dry anise spirit from Badalona, near Barcelona, where Anís del Mono has been made since 1870. Made from anise, it has a clean, strong liquorice-like flavour without the sugar of the sweet Dulce version. Drink it neat after a meal, with cold water, which turns it cloudy, or added to coffee. Its faceted glass bottle is famous in Spain, where it is scraped with a spoon as a percussion instrument in Christmas carols. 1 liter bottle.
